A Survey On Why Valuers Are Not Keen To Get Registered With The Board Survey

The Board observes with disquiet that a large number of qualified valuers do not wish to get registered with the Board. This trend is of great concern to the Board as it is rather baffled by such disinterest shown in this area.

Under the circumstances, the Board has decided to conduct a general survey to identify the reasons of qualified valuers for not completing their career path by obtaining professional status.

We enclose herewith a questionnaire which we hope will be completed by not only probationary valuers and qualified valuers but by registered valuers too. Your input would assist the Board in deciding on the approach to be adopted to promote registration.

Please forward your completed questionnaire to this Board by 31 August 2007.
