The Board has received a number of enquiries on the question of determination of market value for the purpose of foreclosure by banks and other financial institutions.

In connection, the Board would like to advice members that the market value to be adopted in the aforesaid instance shall be according to the National Land Code 1965. Any departure from the exisiting interpretation is incorrect.
