Soliciting For Business

The Board views with concern the recent trend of some of the Registered Valuers who are blatantly soliciting for business, particularly with regards to Land Acquisition cases.

This practice obviously does not speak well for the Valuer nor the profession as a whole apart from not complying with the Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Act and Rules.

The Board views such practice seriously and would like to remind Valuers that professional ethics should be upheld at all times and it would not hesitate to initiate disciplinary Action against any Valuer found to have infringed Rule governing soliciting.

Please be guided accordingly.
