Charging And Accepting Fees Below The Prescribed Scale Fees

The Board observes with disquiet the current trend amongst registered estate agents charging and accepting professional fees for estate agency transactions below the prescribed scale fees.

All registrants in Penang and Johore are reminded that the promulgated scale fees as per the Seventh Schedule shall be complied with piously.

The Board wishes to warn all registered estate agents that severe disciplinary action shall be taken against any registered estate agent who is found to have charged or accepted professional fees below that of the scale fees.
