Business Valuation

Please be informed that the Board has now decided that apart from the Malaysian Valuation Standards (MVS) (2006 Edition) which are mandatory, it will also issue from time to time Guidance Notes on various related subjects in order for the valuers to continue to progress in their profession. Registrants are further informed that these Guidance Notes do not fall under Rules 75(4) of the Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Rules 1986.

Attached herewith please find the first of such Guidance Notes. Registrants are encouraged to address their mind to these Guidance Notes whenever undertaking Business Valuations.
